What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues to improve platform stability, performance, and availability
- Review and validate application and platform changes, ensuring risks are identified and appropriate controls and documentation are in place
- Develop and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability capabilities to maximize platform performance and uptime
- Lead incidents, problem, and post-mortem activities, driving root cause analysis and continuous improvement across support processes
- Ensure critical data feeds and messaging services meet SLAs while maintaining high availability of business-critical functions
- Collaborate across global teams and support operational responsibilities, including escalation management, disaster recovery coordination, and delegated ITAO/CSM activities
Skills You’ll Need
- Several years of experience supporting IBM MQ and Solace technologies, with strong expertise across messaging infrastructure, including networks, UNIX/Linux, and storage platforms
- Deep understanding of MQ and Solace architecture, including queue managers, channels, clusters, message brokers, queues, topics, VPNs, and access controls
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex messaging issues, including connectivity failures, queue backlogs, message loss, and performance bottlenecks
- Strong analytical and automation skills with hands-on experience in Python, UNIX/Linux Shell, and Perl scripting to streamline operations through APIs and self-service tools
- Extensive experience providing IT support within financial services, partnering with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable messaging services and operational excellence
Skills That Will Help You Excel
- Strong understanding of UNIX/Linux and network infrastructure, with the ability to troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and firewall-related issues
- Experience supporting high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), failover testing, and platform resilience initiatives
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues, including high load, network latency, and service disruptions
- Hands-on experience supporting cloud-based infrastructure, automation, and integration services within hybrid environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive, self-motivated approach and experience collaborating across global teams
Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model. Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion. The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $78,000 to $120,500.
Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
