Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support to ensure timely and accurate processing of securities and trade transactions, ensuring correct booking in systems for clean downstream settlement.
- Guide and execute the booking of new strategies and daily capture of transactional information to support downstream analytics and financial accounting processes.
- Maintain governance and controls over the trade capture process.
- Gather and format data into regular and ad‑hoc reports and dashboards.
- Organize work information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Execute routine tasks such as service requests, transactions, and queries within relevant service level agreements.
- Act as a problem‑solving resource for more junior staff.
- Follow documented policies and procedures to execute day‑to‑day transactions and ensure all service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Check and reconcile information and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Identify and resolve issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Deal directly with clients to resolve trade issues and/or escalate as required.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to fulfill service delivery expectations.
- Collaborate in development and implementation of new processes/systems and improvements to existing ones.
- Understand regulatory requirements and operational risks, ensuring appropriate actions and operational integrity.
- Support development of tools and delivery of training focused on business results.
- Complete complex and diverse tasks within given rules/limits, including handling escalations from other employees.
- Analyze issues and determine next steps.
- Take measured risks while protecting the bank by applying the Risk Management Framework, aligning decisions with business strategy and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong desire to learn and motivated to develop professionally (campus program focus).
- Knowledge and experience with relevant systems and technology.
- Understanding of the business unit’s key products, services, processes, and controls.
- Knowledge of risk and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent prioritization skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficient PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational and collaboration/team skills.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $38,500.00 – $71,000.00 (salaried). Compensation may vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, retirement savings plans, and additional perks.
