Job Description
Trademark Associate (Prosecution) The Trademark Associate (Prosecution) will work with leading attorneys across various offices to protect clients' intellectual property assets. Key responsibilities include counseling on trademarks and copyrights, conducting clearance searches, preparing responses to USPTO office actions, and managing enforcement actions such as cease and desist letters, domain disputes, UDRP cases, TTAB proceedings, and social media trademark issues. Candidates must have 2–4 years of experience in U.S. and international trademark prosecution, including handling enforcement and social media matters, along with copyright law expertise.
Applicants should be actively licensed in the state bar, meet CLE requirements, and possess strong writing skills and academic credentials. The role requires analytical proficiency to conduct complex legal analyses and excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, attorneys, and staff. The position offers a salary range of $225,000 to $260,000, which varies based on experience and qualifications and includes consideration for flexible schedules.
