Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel) for a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting in Geneva, New York. Start date 07/06/2026 for a 14-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,256 to $1,323.

Shift is 2x12-hour rotating (day/night) with every other weekend and holiday required. This travel temporary assignment places an RN with ED responsibilities in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage, assessment, intervention, and discharge planning
• Conduct primary and secondary assessments, monitor and interpret patient data, and initiate appropriate treatments
• Administer medications, perform invasive and non-invasive procedures, and manage life-threatening and routine emergencies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, communicate clearly with patients and families, and provide education and discharge instructions
• Apply infection prevention practices, ensure patient safety, and document care continuum and progress
• Support relationship-based care, addressing patient comfort, pain control, and family needs throughout the ED stay

Requirements

• Active NYS Registered Nurse licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Stroke Certification (must be AHA or RQI)
• Minimum two (2) years acute hospital RN experience, with at least one (1) year in an ED environment
• Ability to work in a high-acuity ED setting and participate in 2x12-hour rotating shifts with weekend/holiday coverage as required
