Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to students with visual impairments in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and other educators, to provide comprehensive support
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records and reports
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Department of Education (MA DOE) license as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired
• Successful completion and passing of the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTELs)
• Proven experience in instructing visually impaired students using evidenced-based practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
