Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and qualified TGT Hindi Teacher to teach students of Classes VI to X as per the ICSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging classroom environment that develops students' proficiency in Hindi language, grammar, literature, and creative writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Hindi to students of Classes VI–X in accordance with the ICSE syllabus.
- Prepare annual lesson plans, unit plans, worksheets, assignments, and question papers.
- Develop students' skills in reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and comprehension.
- Teach Hindi literature, poetry, prose, composition, and grammar effectively.
- Prepare students for internal assessments, projects, and ICSE board examinations.
- Evaluate answer scripts and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain student attendance, assessment records, and academic progress reports.
- Use activity-based, experiential, and technology-enabled teaching methods.
- Encourage participation in Hindi debates, elocution, essay writing, poetry recitation, and cultural activities.
- Foster discipline, inclusivity, and a positive learning environment.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Hindi or relevant subject.
- Master's Degree (M.A.) in Hindi preferred.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution is mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in an ICSE school preferred.
- Freshers with excellent subject knowledge and strong communication skills may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Thorough understanding of the ICSE Hindi curriculum and assessment pattern.
- Excellent command of Hindi grammar, literature, and creative writing.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Proficiency in preparing lesson plans and academic documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Smart Boards, MS Office, Google Workspace, and digital teaching tools.
