Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable TGT Physics Teacher to teach students of Classes 6 and 10 under the ICSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to make Physics engaging through practical demonstrations and activity-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Physics to students of Classes IX and X in accordance with the ICSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct practical sessions, laboratory experiments, and demonstrations safely and effectively.
- Evaluate students through tests, projects, and periodic assessments.
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support to students.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.
- Maintain discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress.
- Participate in school events, examinations, PTMs, workshops, and staff meetings.
- Ensure timely completion of the prescribed syllabus.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physics (B.Sc.) with B.Ed.
- Master's degree in Physics (M.Sc.) preferred.
- CTET/State TET qualification is an added advantage.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a ICSE school
Required Skills
- Strong command of Physics concepts for secondary classes.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of smart classroom tools and MS Office.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts through practical examples.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
