About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Apps division, a pivotal role within the global CTO, Software organization. The successful candidate will lead a large team of engineers in the design, development, and operations of software stacks for customer-facing applications, services, and solutions. This includes driving an AI-native paradigm across the software development lifecycle, with a focus on AI-enabled applications at the edge.
The role is instrumental in advancing the company's software-led business transformation, particularly in the areas of unified AI-enabled customer experiences and new operating models. The VP will be responsible for fostering a culture of accountability, attracting and developing high-performing teams, and partnering with stakeholders to implement a true platform engineering model. Applicants for the Vice President, Apps position at the company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with a Ph.D. preferred.
A minimum of 15 years' engineering experience, including at least 8 years in senior management roles, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building diverse, high-performing engineering teams, and delivering measurable business value through engineering excellence. Deep technical expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and modern AI-native software development practices is essential.
