Vice President - Fund Raising

Job Description
The incumbent will lead end-to-end fundraising transactions across equity, structured capital, private equity, venture capital, debt syndication, and strategic investments. The role requires strong relationships with promoters, family offices, private equity funds, venture capital investors, sovereign funds, banks, NBFCs, and institutional investors.The candidate will be responsible for business origination, transaction execution, investor engagement, and managing senior client relationships while driving revenue growth for the firm. Nuvama's fundraising platform includes equity capital raising, private equity placements, and debt syndication solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Business Development & OriginationOriginate fundraising mandates from corporates, startups, growth-stage companies, and promoter groups.Develop relationships with CXOs, promoters, PE funds, family offices, and institutional investors.Generate opportunities across:Private Equity Fund RaisingPre-IPO PlacementsGrowth CapitalStructured FinanceDebt SyndicationAcquisition FinancingProject FinanceSpecial Situations FundingBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective transactions.Transaction ExecutionLead end-to-end execution of fundraising transactions.Structure capital solutions aligned with client requirements.Coordinate due diligence, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and transaction documentation.Prepare investment memorandums, pitch books, teasers, and management presentations.Negotiate commercial terms with investors and lenders.Drive transactions through closing.Investor Coverage & Relationship ManagementMaintain relationships with:Domestic and Global PE FundsVenture Capital FundsFamily OfficesSovereign Wealth FundsBanks and NBFCsAlternative Investment Funds (AIFs)Conduct investor roadshows and management meetings.Develop investor intelligence and sector insights.Team LeadershipMentor Associates, AVPs, and Vice Presidents.Review financial models, valuation outputs, and transaction materials.Ensure quality control and timely execution of mandates.Strategic AdvisoryAdvise clients on capital structure optimization.Provide insights on market conditions, valuation benchmarks, and fundraising strategy.Support M&A and strategic advisory opportunities arising from client relationships.
Qualification:MBA (Finance) from a premier institution.CA, CFA, or equivalent qualifications preferred
Experience:
12-18 years of relevant experience.
