Responsibilities
- Lead the enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, overseeing annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, monthly financial reviews, and long-range strategic planning.
- Serve as the primary strategic finance partner to the Chief Financial Officer and executive leadership team, providing financial insights that support business growth and operational decision-making.
- Develop and enhance financial models, scenario analyses, and performance forecasts to evaluate investments, capital allocation, and enterprise initiatives.
- Drive analysis of key operating metrics, including revenue, pricing, traffic, labor productivity, food and operating costs, four-wall profitability, and unit-level economics.
- Prepare executive-level reporting, Board presentations, and financial analyses to support earnings cycles, long-term planning, and strategic initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations, and other business leaders to ensure consistent financial reporting and actionable business insights.
- Lead the company's long-range planning process by developing multi-year financial strategies aligned with growth objectives and shareholder expectations.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, reporting capabilities, financial systems, and analytics through automation and best practices.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A organization while fostering a collaborative, performance-driven culture.
- Champion a data-driven approach to decision-making by delivering timely, accurate, and actionable financial analysis that supports enterprise growth and profitability.
Must-Have Skills
- Enterprise FP&A Leadership Extensive experience leading enterprise-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning within a publicly traded, multi-unit organization.
- Strategic Finance & Executive Partnership Proven ability to partner with the CFO and executive leadership to drive business strategy, capital allocation, financial modeling, scenario planning, and enterprise decision-making.
- Public Company & Multi-Unit Financial Expertise Strong background supporting Board reporting, earnings guidance, and investor-facing financial analysis, with deep knowledge of unit economics, four-wall profitability, AUVs, labor models, and operational performance metrics.
Nice to Have Skills
- Restaurant, Retail, or Hospitality Finance Experience Experience supporting multi-unit consumer businesses with expertise in four-wall economics, AUV growth, labor modeling, food costs, and operational performance analytics.
- Advanced Finance Systems & Analytics Hands-on experience with enterprise planning and business intelligence platforms such as Workday, Workday Adaptive Planning, Tableau, Snowflake, or similar financial planning and analytics tools.
- Capital Markets & Executive Communications Experience partnering with Investor Relations and Treasury on earnings preparation, Board presentations, guidance, capital planning, and investor-facing financial communications, along with advanced credentials such as an MBA, CPA, or CFA.
