About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Safety, Quality, and Compliance to serve as the executive authority in leading and maintaining its quality management, aviation safety, occupational health, and regulatory compliance programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring uncompromised airworthiness, proactive workplace safety practices, and absolute adherence to FAA, DOD, DCMA, and international regulatory standards. This role involves championing a strategic vision for quality systems, overseeing quality control and assurance protocols, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading a proactive safety culture.

The Vice President will also be the primary liaison to regulatory authorities, direct environmental health and safety operations, and mentor a high-performing team across domestic and forward-deployed sites. Candidates for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a preference for aviation management, business, or quality management. A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in aviation quality, safety, and regulatory compliance within MRO, defense contracting, or aerospace manufacturing is required.

The role demands a proven track record in developing and executing strategies in both government and commercial aviation environments, as well as a strong understanding of relevant standards such as AS9100, AS9110, and ISO 9001. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to foster a non-punitive safety culture, and the diplomatic precision necessary to interact with regulatory authorities. Additional qualifications include an active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one, and certifications such as an FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license and ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE) or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
