About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Principal with a strong background in marketing and the pharmaceutical industry to take on the role of executive lead for assigned client relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving organic growth, managing client P&Ls, and leading the internal agency team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, profitable work that meets client objectives. This role requires a seasoned expert who can provide executive-level strategic counsel, guide clients through the commercialization journey, and lead the development of integrated, omnichannel activation strategies.
The VP, Principal will also be accountable for maintaining a deep understanding of the client's business, the consumer, and the marketplace, as well as for fostering strong, trusted relationships throughout the client ecosystem. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience, with a significant portion in a pharmaceutical agency setting, and a proven track record of executive-level responsibility for pharmaceutical clients. The role demands a leader with excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, who is a strategic thinker and can operate effectively at both the strategic and executional levels.
Experience in leading pharmaceutical brands from pre-commercial planning through launch is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented player with a service-oriented mindset, capable of inspiring and collaborating with a large cross-functional team, and will be adept at managing direct reports.
