Job Number: 179329, Job Title: VP Pavilion Business Operations/Chief Staffing Officer-Ambulatory Care Services, Salary: $181,396.80 - $244,878.40Job Summary The Vice President, Pavilion Business Operations/Chief Staffing Officer reports to the Pavilion Executive Vice President and provides oversight of pavilion finance, business and Chief Staffing Officer functions and operations. This position oversees finance and business staff and processes and leads activities to monitor, assess and influence productivity of the assigned Pavilion (productivity responsibilities are referred to as duties of the Chief Staffing Office). This role also supports the oversight work related to the assigned medical school and any proposals or initiatives under consideration by Harris Health.
Oversees the development of business plans for new and/or strategic initiatives for the assigned Pavilion. Develops and leads finance education/training programs for Pavilion leaders. This VP may also oversee, either directly or via a matrix relationship, one or more Ancillary Business Unit of the pavilion.
This position is expected to dedicate two-thirds of their time to business and staffing related functions and is matrixed to Harris Health System's Executive Vice President /Chief Financial Officer for the other 1/3. This role works in close coordination with the System Finance functions along the established lines of internal control and segregation of duties. Emphasis will be placed on management of financial and operational analytics to maximize pavilion (ACS) operations, and prior experience with finance and business operations for ACS is essential.Minimum QualificationsDegree: Master's required at time of hire.
If not held, the degree must be obtained within three years of the hire date.Work Experience: Fifteen (15) Years Work Experience in Finance and/or Business operations experience required. Healthcare experience preferred, as is oversight experience with grants and contracts.Management Experience: Ten (10) Years of Management Experience in Progressive leadership experience required in a complex environment.
