Warehouse Lead
Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead for a company based in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, lead warehouse associates, ensure inventory accuracy, and support shipping and receiving activities while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Pay Rate
$17 - $18 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, first shift 8 00 am to 4 00 pm.

Warehouse Lead Duties & Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise and support warehouse associates during daily operations.
• Task Coordination: Assign workloads and monitor employee productivity and performance.
• Receiving and shipping: Oversee incoming shipments and ensure accurate order fulfillment and outbound deliveries.
• Inventory Control: Conduct cycle counts, maintain inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Training: Train new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment operations, and safety practices.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Problem Solving: Address operational issues and recommend process improvements.
• Communication: Coordinate with supervisors and management regarding staffing inventory, and workflow needs.

Warehouse Lead Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of warehouse experience required.
• Leadership Experience: Previous lead, supervisor, or team leadership experience preferred.
• Forklift Experience: Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
• Computer Skills: Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Organization: Ability to multitask and prioritize work in fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment

Job Type
Full-time, temporary
