CFL is currently seeking candidates to join our rapidly expanding team. We seek to hire a Warehouse Lead. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation and operation of the warehouse for the newly established SPC vinyl flooring manufacturing facility in Adairsville, GA. The chosen candidate will report to the CFL USA Warehouse Manager.
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Lead will have responsibility for the warehouse inventory and staff.
Lead Responsibilities:
· Be able to effectively work with little supervision
· Maintain order and cleanliness at raw materials warehouse
· Oversee inbound and outbound at warehouse
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receive and record new inventory as it is delivered; inspect and store it according to Standard Operating Procedure and CFL policy. Report any issues to management team
- Conducts physical inventory, compare and reconcile result to ERP system (SAP)
- Replenish stock and inventory as needed, through FIFO
- Ensure that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse.
- Transfer inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule.
- Schedule materials being transferred to and from warehouse;
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
- Monitor expenditures; implement corrective actions if needed.
- Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
- Resolves routine equipment issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- LTO Certification
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with data entry and inventory software and computer office suites.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in Business or 2-4 years equivalent related experience in this field.
- At least six months of experience in distribution or manufacturing required with Associate degree.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to navigate the industrial environment of vinyl tile manufacturing
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to operate a powered industrial lift truck
