Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Woodworker! The ideal candidate will be proficient in design, construction, and repair of wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures. Skilled in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to create high-quality products.
Experienced in reading blueprints, selecting appropriate materials, and ensuring precise measurements and cuts. Knowledgeable about various woodworking techniques, including carving, joinery, sanding, staining, and finishing, with a strong focus on safety and attention to detail. Committed to producing durable and aesthetically pleasing wooden products tailored to client specifications.
Responsibilities:
Blueprint reading and material selectionUse of woodworking tools and machineryPrecision cutting, sanding, and assemblyWood staining, varnishing, and finishingExecution and strong attention to detail and craftsmanshipPrecision in taking measurements, executing tight joints, and evaluating the structural integrity of the final product.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in a construction or carpentry environmentWoodworking Expertise: Strong proficiency in operating power tools (table saws, routers, planers) and hand tools. Lathe experience is highly valuedPass pre-employment background check
