Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our evening shift team at Fallbrook Rehabilitation and Care Center in Houston, Texas. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality wound care to our patients, promoting healing, and improving their overall health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care treatment plans for patients with complex wounds
Perform wound care procedures, including debridement, dressing changes, and wound measurements
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide education and support to patients and their families on wound care management and prevention
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain current knowledge of wound care best practices
Requirements:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas
Minimum of 4 years of experience in wound care nursing
Strong clinical knowledge and skills in wound care management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Wound Care Certification is required
