z/OS Systems Administrator

Task Description:
Job Duty 1 z/OS installation 50%
Job Duty 2 Diagnosing system operational problems quickly and effectively. 25%
Job Duty 3 z/OS programming 5%
Job Duty 4 Providing reliable and efficient maintenance, for all managed systems. 15%
Job Duty 5 Storage management 5%

Required skills/Level of Experience: 

The successful candidate shall have 10+ years of z/OS Systems Administration. 

Other requirements for the position include:
• Experience in z/OS systems administration support and maintenance
• Experience in z/OS installation
• SMP/E knowledge and experience
• TSO/ISPF, SDSF, HOD, JCL knowledge
• RACF
• Programming skills to include REXX and Assembler • Top Secret Security Clearance

Nice to have skills:
5+ experience with z/VM Installation and support

OTHER SKILL/REQUIREMENT:
Comptia Security+ or Network+
