We're looking for an experienced Electronic Music Producer & Ableton Live Expert who lives and breathes dance music and is passionate about mentoring aspiring artists.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Music Producer with strong expertise in Ableton Live to join our faculty in Mumbai.
The ideal candidate should possess both technical excellence and artistic creativity, with a deep understanding of modern electronic music production workflows. Beyond teaching software, you'll mentor students in developing their own sound, creative identity and professional careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging group classes on Ableton Live from beginner to advanced levels.
- Teach electronic music production across genres including House, Tech House, Techno, Afro House, UK Garage, Melodic House & Techno, Bass Music and other contemporary electronic styles.
- Teach music theory specifically from an electronic music production perspective.
- Guide students through arrangement, songwriting, sound selection and production workflows used by professional EDM artists.
- Teach advanced sound design using Ableton instruments, third-party synths and modern production techniques.
- Train students in industry-standard mixing and mastering for streaming platforms, clubs and festivals.
- Review assignments and provide detailed creative and technical feedback.
- Mentor students in developing their own sonic identity rather than simply recreating existing records.
- Stay updated with evolving electronic music trends, production techniques, plugins and AI-powered music tools, integrating them into the curriculum where relevant.
- Collaborate with faculty to continuously improve course content and maintain industry relevance.
Qualifications:
Essential
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience producing electronic music in Ableton Live.
- Strong portfolio of original electronic music releases.
- Deep understanding of genres such as:
- House
- Tech House
- Techno
- Afro House
- UK Garage
- Melodic House & Techno
- Progressive House
- Bass Music
- Excellent knowledge of:
- Music Theory
- Arrangement
- Songwriting
- Sound Design
- Sampling
- Mixing
- Mastering
- Experience using modern plugins and synthesizers such as Serum, Diva, Vital, Massive, Kontakt, FabFilter, Soundtoys, Valhalla and similar tools.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching, mentoring or coaching experience.
- Fluent in both English and Hindi.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience performing as a DJ or live electronic artist.
- Music released on recognized labels or with substantial streaming performance.
- Experience preparing tracks for club systems and festival playback.
- Knowledge of current industry trends, AI-assisted production tools and the evolving electronic music ecosystem.
