Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive *Accountant* to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠*Payment Management*

 - Process and manage incoming and outgoing payments in a timely manner

 - Ensure accurate payment records and maintain supporting documentation

 - Monitor payment schedules and flag discrepancies proactively

•⁠ ⁠*Vendor Coordination*

 - Liaise with vendors and suppliers for invoices, purchase orders, and payment follow-ups

 - Resolve billing disputes and maintain healthy vendor relationships

 - Reconcile vendor statements on a regular basis

•⁠ ⁠*GST & TDS Compliance*

 - Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) within due dates

 - Handle TDS deductions, deposits, and quarterly return filings (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.)

 - Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and ensure full compliance

•⁠ ⁠*Books of Accounts – Zoho Books*

 - Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts on *Zoho Books*

 - Record journal entries, invoices, expenses, and bank transactions

 - Perform monthly reconciliations and generate financial reports

•⁠ ⁠*Payment Tracking & Dues Clearance*

 - Track outstanding receivables and payables on an ongoing basis

 - Follow up with internal teams and external parties for timely clearance of dues

 - Prepare aging reports and escalate overdue accounts as needed

## Required Skills & Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠*Education:* B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent

•⁠ ⁠*Experience:* 2–4 years in a similar accounting role

•⁠ ⁠Hands-on experience with *Zoho Books* (mandatory)

•⁠ ⁠Sound knowledge of *GST and TDS* regulations

•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in *MS Excel* and accounting principles

•⁠ ⁠Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

•⁠ ⁠Good communication skills for effective vendor coordination
