Accountant

Key responsibilities- General ledger / AP & AR accounting: prepare and review journal entries, maintain the GL and perform reconciliations.- Fixed assets & expense accounting: record asset additions/disposals/depreciation, support asset inventory and cost capitalization. Accounting reimbursements and other operational costs.- Tax & statutory compliance: work closely with tax advisor to support VAT, CIT and other filings.- Period‑end close: complete month‑end and year‑end closing tasks and prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.- Audit & external liaison: coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors; prepare audit schedules and respond to audit inquiries. Work closely with HQ to support the group audit.- Cross‑functional collaboration: work closely with operations, HR, procurement and regulatory authorities (IRAS and ACRA) to resolve accounting issues.

Preferred / Nice‑to‑have- Knowledge of SAP operations.- Hands‑on experience with intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, cost capitalization (R&D) or project accounting.- Experience coordinating statutory audits and tax audits end‑to‑end.
