Accountant

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:Preparation of month end pack and reports to regional finance teamPreparation of various reports and analysis as required to provide value add assistance to the businessData entry to accounting systemCollaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support operational activitiesEnter payment details into online banking systems after all approvals are obtained as per SOAEnsure ongoing compliance with global internal control and US SOX regulationsPreparation of concert/tour settlements and be on site for concerts/festival under his responsibilityPlacement of shows related insuranceProject reconciliationPrepare and filing of withholding tax, GST and other tax mattersEnsure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and IFRSAssist in office admin matters on ad hoc basisOther varied accounts duties to support the team BEHAVIOUR:Proactive team player with initiative and self-motivationFocus on quality and serviceVery focused and adaptable to achieving deadlinesIndependent thinkerAbility to translate a concept into a plan QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting and CPD/CPA qualification is preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, including multi-entity experiencePreferably with Regional Exposure ExperiencesBilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin, both verbal and written.Experience with Xero and Oracle is a plus.Detail-oriented, meticulous, and able to perform well under pressure.Must be able to work later hours or on weekends on show dayCoordinate with stakeholders in person during settlement or accounting processes when on-site support is required.Willing to work on-site at temporary offices or event venues when required.This role will occasionally require flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-site work at event venues or temporary offices.Due to the nature of live event operations, extended hours may be required during peak periods.
