About the Job
Reporting into the finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance and administrative functions of the business. This is a varied position offering exposure across sales ledger, purchase ledger, stock administration and general office support within a busy production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
- Raise and issue sales invoices.
- Process supplier invoices and maintain purchase ledger records.
- Prepare supplier payments and assist with payment runs.
- Complete bank and account reconciliations.
- Support basic credit control activities and customer account queries.
- Process stock and delivery documentation.
- Maintain accurate records using detailed product and stock coding systems.
- Provide general finance and administrative support across the office.
- Prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks to meet business deadlines.
- Assist with ad hoc duties as required to support the wider team.
Your Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a finance, accounts or administration role.
- Good working knowledge of sales ledger and purchase ledger processes.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, proactive and committed to delivering high-quality work.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced operational or manufacturing environment.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within manufacturing, production or stock-based businesses.
- Exposure to supplier payments, bank reconciliations or credit control.
- Experience working with inventory, stock control or product coding systems.
