Ai Training - Accountants - Remote

We are seeking an intermediate-level Accountant with strong analytical and communication skills to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, multi-entity accounting environment and be responsible for a range of weekly, monthly, and annual deliverables. This is a remote role based in Ontario, Canada.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

- Prepare month-end reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Liaise with international entities to support consolidation and reporting processes.
- Coordinate weekly consolidated cash forecasting and assist with commentary.
- Review vendor invoices and assist with accounts payable oversight on a weekly basis.
- Coordinate corporate tax letters and payments with assistance from tax advisors.
- Support month-end close processes and ensure adherence to internal timelines.
- Perform other duties as required to support business needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-5 years of experience in general or full-cycle accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas (e.G., SUMIF, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with SaaS companies.
- Knowledge of US GAAP.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting systems.
- Actively pursuing CPA designation.

$45,000 - $65,000 a year
