Analyst Programmer

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule promotion and execution tasks related to deliveries
• Write execution plans (sequence of processes) for data refreshes during a delivery
• Track the progress of testing to plan promotions
• Organize and schedule promotions and executions based on dependencies between the different components of a delivery
• Start the execution of processing chains in ACCA and request their execution in PRDA
• Monitor the progress of work
• Identify execution issues, follow up on their resolution and manage re-executions if necessary
• Propose alternative solutions in case of processing failures or data problems
• Coordinate work with the primary layer (EDM) to ensure prerequisite processing is completed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience using Oracle 19c RDBMS in a data warehouse architecture: provide two (2) examples of usage within the last three (3) years
• At least two (2) years of experience programming in SQL and PL/SQL within the last five (5) years
• Have used the Quest Software TOAD development tool for two hundred and fifty (250) hours over the past three (3) years
• Possess at least one (1) of the following: Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), SAS suite, Ministry of Education data warehouse
• Able to communicate easily, both orally and in writing, in professional French
• At least three (3) years of experience in information technology, including one (1) year in data warehousing
• At least two (2) years working as an analyst-programmer on data warehouse projects using Oracle products (19c, ODI, and Oracle SQL)
• Participated in support and operational activities (acceptance testing, production monitoring and control) in two (2) mandates, including at least one (1) mandate related to a data warehouse.
