Area Sales Manager

I am looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager for a leading manufacturer in the construction industry. In this role you will be developing sales of construction products across Munster.The role will focus on building strong client relationships with existing clients while also driving business growth within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Builders' Merchants, House Builders, Main Contractors, Brickwork Contractors, and Specifiers across the Munster region.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities while maximizing sales growth within existing accounts.
• Develop and execute business development plans for key customers to drive regional market expansion.
• Manage a project pipeline, ensuring timely preparation of quotations and schedules, and track opportunities through to successful completion.
• Act as a knowledgeable industry ambassador by providing expert advice and promoting lintel and related building products effectively.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in sales, ideally within the construction or building materials sector.
• Strong commercial awareness with a client-focused approach and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet targets and thrive in a target-driven sales environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with CRM systems.
• Full, clean driving licence with the willingness to travel regularly across the Munster region.
