Hours Full Time. Contract Type Maternity Cover. Start Date September 2026.

Closing Date 25th June - 12 noon. Interview Date TBC. About The Role The successful candidate will be an exceptional teacher capable of delivering engaging and high‑quality Art and Design lessons across all Key Stages.

The role also includes contributing to a broad extracurricular programme and supporting whole‑school initiatives that promote wellbeing and achievement. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high‑quality Art and Design lessons that motivate and challenge all learners. Assess, monitor, and support student progress.

Promote positive behaviour, personal development and inclusive participation in lessons. Support the wider vision and values of Lift Unity City. Qualifications and Experience Holds a degree in a relevant creative arts based subject.

Has experience of working with young people within a school environment. Demonstrates excellent behaviour management skills. Is passionate about student development and wellbeing.

Works effectively as part of a team and contributes to school life. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Is available to attend interviews in person (online interviews and sponsorship for this vacancy are not supported).
