The role involves planning and executing internal audits, assessing internal controls, and reviewing financial and accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
The Assistant Manager will prepare audit reports, highlight findings and risks, and recommend improvements to processes and controls. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams, following up on audit recommendations, and supporting the development of audit methodologies and checklists. The role also includes contributing to risk assessments, assisting in statutory and internal compliance reviews, and supporting senior leadership with data-driven insights.Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify control gaps, and assess risk.Solid grounding in Finance and Accounting to evaluate financial statements and business transactions.Experience in Internal Controls, including design, testing, and documentation of control frameworks.Hands-on exposure to Financial Audits and internal audit procedures, including sampling and evidence gathering.Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent, or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Knowledge of relevant Indian tax, regulatory, and compliance requirements, especially for global businesses operating in India.Proficiency in audit and office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, audit software) and strong report-writing skills.Ability to work independently and in teams, manage multiple assignments, and communicate clearly with stakeholders at different levels.
