As an Audit Manager in our Ballarat office, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading audit engagements, developing client relationships, and mentoring a high‑performing team. You’ll be part of a dynamic and supportive environment where your ideas matter and your growth is a priority.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Leading and managing multiple audit engagements across a variety of sectors
• Building strong, lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Coaching and developing junior team members
• Identifying and resolving technical accounting and audit issues
• Contributing to business development, tenders, and presentations
• Collaborating with Partners and Directors on business unit strategy and operations

About You

We are seeking an experienced audit professional who has a strong technical understanding of accounting standards and audit procedures, paired with excellent communication and organisational skills. Confident in managing multiple priorities and mentoring team members, you'll bring a proactive approach to client service and a commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes.

Essential

• 5-7 years' experience audit experience
• Strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong prioritising skills
• Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Detailed working knowledge and application of Corporations Act, Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards and other applicable legislation
