About the Role
We are searching on behalf of our client for this role. This position is not with OVI.
We're looking for someone who's excited to build relationships, close deals, bring in new business, and help build the sales function from the ground up alongside the founder. If you're someone who enjoys being on the field, meeting customers, and figuring things out instead of waiting for instructions, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
• Call, email, and meet inbound leads to convert them into paying customers.
• Find new business through cold calls, cold emails, walk-ins, and outbound prospecting.
• Build relationships with prospective clients and grow your sales pipeline.
• Visit client offices, carry demo units, and conduct in-person product demonstrations.
• Run on-ground sales pitches and present solutions to decision-makers.
• Represent the client organisation at B2B exhibitions and industry events.
• Plan, set up, and manage exhibition stalls while converting prospects into opportunities.
• Keep the CRM updated with accurate lead information.
• Maintain an organised sales pipeline so no opportunity is missed.
• Work directly with the founder to build and improve the sales process as the company grows.
Your Profile
• Based in Mumbai and willing to travel across the city for client meetings.
• 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling to corporates.
• Proven track record of carrying and achieving sales targets.
• Comfortable with cold calling, cold emailing, and outbound business development.
• Confident presenting and selling to senior decision-makers.
