Job Description
B2G Sales Manager – Government Liaisoning & Closures (IT Knowlegable preferred)
The candidate must have proven experience in B2G sales, government liaisoning, relationship-building, negotiation, stakeholder management, and order closure.
The Sales Manager will be fully responsible and accountable for the entire B2G sales funnel, including proactive opportunities generated by the team as well as personal business development efforts.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Taking complete ownership of the B2G sales funnel, from opportunity identification to order closure
- Maintaining close supervision over the entire sales team and keeping a sharp watch on every active opportunity
- Reviewing proactive government cases, departmental requirements, proposals, meetings, and follow-ups
- Ensuring that no potential opportunity is delayed, ignored, or lost due to weak follow-up
- Conducting regular pipeline reviews and assigning clear accountability to each Sales Executive
- Accompanying Sales Executives for important client meetings, negotiations, and final closures
- Personally visiting government departments, officials, consultants, and key stakeholders for strategic opportunities
- Building strong relationships with departments and decision-makers
- Driving timely movement of proposals, quotations, approvals, demonstrations, and commercial discussions
- Coordinating with tender, pre-sales, procurement, finance, and execution teams for faster conversion
- Taking direct ownership of high-value, delayed, or critical opportunities
- Achieving defined monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
The candidate must be proactive, disciplined, highly target-oriented, commercially sharp, and capable of leading the sales team from the front.
