Enhance the wellbeing of long-term care residents as a Clinical Behavioural Support on the Behavioural Supports Ontario Mobile Team. This full-time position centers on assessments and personalized strategies. As a member of the Mobile Team, you will work across Central West Ontario's long-term care homes.
Your role will involve conducting person-centered assessments and engaging families in the care process. Mentoring staff and articulating care strategies are key to your success in this collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee referrals and carry out person-centered assessments • Recommend health resources for effective resident care • Utilize non-pharmacological approaches for behavior management • Employ assessment tools to ensure quality care • Participate in ongoing training and adopt best practices Requirements: • Registration with a recognized professional college • Minimum 3 years' experience in Long Term Care • Expertise in responsive behavior strategies • Background in Mental Health or related fields • Valid driver's license and vehicle access Utilize your empathy and problem-solving abilities to contribute to long-term care excellence. #J-18808-Ljbffr
