The Opportunity
Shape the future of biopharmaceutical manufacturing with Avantor. We are looking for an ambitious Biopharma Production Sales Specialist to drive growth across Ireland and partner with the industry’s leading organisations to deliver innovative solutions from our market‑leading portfolio of bioprocessing products, single‑use technologies and GMP chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan to increase Avantor’s market share across Ireland.
- Promote a comprehensive portfolio of biopharma production solutions, including single‑use systems (bags, tubing, connectors, pumps), process chemicals and GMP excipients used throughout biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Build trusted relationships with scientists, process engineers, manufacturing teams, MSAT, procurement, quality and senior leadership across key customer accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities while expanding existing customer partnerships through a consultative, solution‑focused sales approach.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and customer training tailored to individual manufacturing processes and challenges.
- Work collaboratively with Avantor’s Applications Specialists, Design Engineers, Customer Service, Marketing, Regulatory and Technical Support teams to develop customised solutions, support customer projects and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to help shape commercial strategy.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and pipeline management.
- Represent Avantor at industry conferences, customer events and trade exhibitions.
