Business Analyst - Trade Finance Operations: On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Trade Finance Operations for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client's New York office.Business Analyst - Trade Finance Operations - Job Description: The incumbent will be responsible for processing transactions related to Standby Letters of Credit in Trade Services Center NYA, ensuring compliance with U.S. laws/regulations, Bank's procedures/policies, and international trade practices. The role requires a highly customer service-oriented team member who is flexible and committed to the success of the team.Business Analyst - Trade Finance Operations - Responsibilities: Handle end-to-end processing of Standby Letter of Credit transactions, including issuances, amendments, advises, confirmations, claims, examination of documents, payments, transfers, assignments of proceeds, and billing.

Ensure all activities and transactions comply with the Banks Standard Operation Procedures and relevant regulations. Prepare and review Standby Letters of Credit drafts to meet client and team requests. Respond promptly to requests, concerns, and complaints from customers and internal teams.

Handle daily and monthly reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Manage the billing process for out-of-pocket expenses related to SBLC transactions. Conduct investigations to respond to inquiries from clients and internal teams.

Business Analyst - Trade Finance Operations - Mandatory Skills: 2+ years banking experience in Trade Finance operations Knowledge of International Banking and Trade Finance operations Working knowledge of ISP98, UCP600/ISBP Excellent skills in Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Experience with SWIFT messages related to Trade Finance transactions Business Analyst - Trade Finance Operations - Nice-to-Have Skills: Working knowledge in the T360, BESS, LoanIQ, CorrRisk, TLM, GTX systems CDCS certification Business Analyst - Trade Finance Operations - Assignment Length: The contract duration is ASAP - 12/31/2026, with the possibility of extension.Business Analyst - Trade Finance Operations - Start Date: ASAPBusiness Analyst - Trade Finance Operations - Assignment Location: New York, New York, United States, hybrid with 3 days in office.
