We are looking for a Business developer in 51 Rue Emile Decorps - Lot 1, VILLEURBANNE 69100 FRA. Your mission will be to:
Business Developer - Pharma & Healthcare
Location: Lyon, France
Territory: Southern France, Switzerland and neighbouring territories
As a Sales Representative, you will join our Pharma & Healthcare Business Unit, partnering with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, providing GMP-compliant analytical testing and scientific expertise across the product lifecycle. Based in the Lyon area, you will develop business mainly across the South of France, Switzerland and neighbouring territories, within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Working closely with our scientific and operational teams, you will identify customer needs, propose tailored analytical solutions and build long-term partnerships based on technical expertise and trust.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Manage and expand relationships with existing customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend the most appropriate analytical and laboratory services
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements and manage the sales cycle from opportunity to contract
- Work closely with Customer Care, laboratories and technical experts to ensure an excellent customer experience
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through regular customer visits and prospecting activities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and new business opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of commercial activities using the CRM system
Your Profile
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences or laboratory services sector
- A proven track record in business development and account management
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- A consultative sales approach with a genuine customer focus
- The ability to work independently and manage priorities across a large geographical area
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related discipline
- Native or fluent French and professional working proficiency in English
