About the Role :We are seeking a high-calibre Business Development Manager with deep, hands-on expertise in Contract Logistics (CL) to drive the building, scaling, and long-term sustainability of our strategic CL business in the local market.This is not a general freight forwarding, regional BD, or volume-driven sales role. We are looking for someone who combines strong operational understanding with proven strategic account development capabilities to deliver high-quality, sustainable revenue growth. Key Responsibilities :Identify, develop, and win new local enterprise and strategic accounts in Contract LogisticsBuild and maintain long-term client relationships with a strong focus on account retention and expansionCollaborate closely with operations, solutions design, engineering, and implementation teams to create tailored, operationally robust CL solutionsLead complex solution design processes, RFI/RFQ/RFP responses, and implementation handoversDrive business growth with emphasis on quality of revenue and strategic fit, rather than pure volumeDevelop deep market insight into local Contract Logistics needs and competitive landscapeAchieve sustainable pipeline development and revenue targets through consultative, value-based selling What We Are Looking For :Strong local market expertise in Contract Logistics (candidates with only regional / multi-market exposure will not be considered)Proven deep experience specifically in Contract Logistics (not general freight forwarding, NVOCC, or generic logistics sales)Demonstrated track record of successfully developing and growing local enterprise/strategic accounts in CLSolid understanding of complex CL operations, warehouse solutions design, process implementation, and operational excellenceProven history of long-term client relationship building and high account retention ratesStable career history with longer tenure in key roles (job-hoppers need not apply)Strong collaboration mindset — ability to work hand-in-hand with operations and solutions teams to ensure promises are deliverable and sustainableDisciplined focus on quality revenue and long-term strategic alignment (not short-term transactional wins)
