What You'll Be DoingAs a Business Support Clerk, you'll play a key role in delivering an efficient and professional support service across the council.
No two days will be the same as you: Provide administrative and clerical support across a range of council services Manage records, filing systems, correspondence and documentation Process internal and external mail Handle telephone enquiries and provide excellent customer service Input, retrieve and maintain information using various IT systems Produce letters, reports, presentations and other documents Organise meetings, manage diaries and take accurate meeting notes and minutes Support routine business functions including finance, HR, customer support and administration Assist with data collection, performance information and statistical reporting Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure services are delivered efficiently and effectively What We're Looking ForWe're looking for individuals who are: Excellent communicators with strong written and verbal skills Friendly, professional and committed to delivering outstanding customer service Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel Organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively Strong team players who contribute positively to shared goals Accurate, dependable and detail-oriented Confident interacting with customers, colleagues and stakeholders at all levels Why Join Belfast City Council?
