Duties
Deliver comprehensive classroom lessons on traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle operation tailored to adult learners.
Conduct practical behind-the-wheel training for tractor-trailer and truck driving skills, including maneuvering, braking, and parking techniques.
Teach specialized skills such as air brake operation, tanker vehicle handling, and other endorsements required for commercial driving.
Assess student progress through evaluations, providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
Prepare students for CDL exams by guiding them through written tests and practical skills assessments.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
Ensure all training activities adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a secure learning environment.
Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving, including tractor-trailer operations and truck driving across various conditions.
Strong classroom teaching skills with the ability to engage adult learners effectively.
Knowledge of air brake systems, tanker operations, and other specialized vehicle endorsements.
Familiarity with adult education principles and previous classroom experience is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills to clearly convey technical information and provide guidance.
Ability to demonstrate safe driving techniques while maintaining professionalism and patience.
