Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The CFO will play a crucial role in shaping the organization's financial strategy, overseeing all financial operations, and ensuring the company's economic well-being. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial management, risk management, and corporate accounting.
The ideal candidate will have experience in fiscal management and revenue cycle management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Manage risk by identifying potential financial threats and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Develop financial models to support business decisions and long-term planning.
- Supervise tax accounting processes to ensure compliance with tax regulations while optimizing tax liabilities.
- Oversee revenue management practices to maximize profitability and enhance cash flow.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors, providing insights into financial performance and trends.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, risk management practices, corporate accounting standards, and fiscal management strategies.
- Proficiency in financial modeling techniques to support strategic decision-making.
- In-depth understanding of tax accounting principles and regulations.
- Familiarity with revenue management strategies and revenue cycle management processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a finance team effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Education and Experience:
- Education: MBA or CPA preferred, but not required.
- Experience: Three years’ experience in healthcare accounting policies and procedures.
- One year of experience in management is needed. Experience in non-profits or FQHCs preferred.
- Other: Valid N.C. Driver’s License, and dependable transportation.
