Civil Design Engineer

As a Civil Engineer with AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience you will be placed within a US client organization to perform the following.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and design of civil engineering projects, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility design.

Generating plans, sections, and details using AutoCAD / Civil 3D from sketches and/or verbal instructions.

Transform survey information, initial sketches, and concept designs using AutoCAD / Civil3D into construction plans, generally including:

• Existing Conditions
• Dimensioned Site Plan
• Site Grading & Drainage Plans
• Site Utility Plans
• Utility Plan and Profile Drawings

Work with the engineer to modify plans from mark-ups and design revisions.

Revise plans according to client, manager, or agency reviewer comments and redlines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.

Minimum 2 years of experience in civil engineering or construction (internship experience may be considered).

Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.

Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations.

Familiarity with relevant software applications for engineering analysis and design (e.g., Civil 3D).
