A well-established civil defense firm with multiple offices across Florida is seeking a senior-level attorney to join its Tampa team. The firm is recognized for its strong trial practice, deep roots in insurance defense, and reputation for delivering effective, client-centered results across a range of liability matters.
Role Overview
The firm is seeking a seasoned litigator with extensive experience defending insurance carriers and corporate clients in the areas of product liability and premises liability. This role involves managing high-exposure cases from inception through trial, mentoring junior attorneys, and contributing to the continued growth of the firm’s insurance defense practice.

Job Details
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- 3+ years of civil defense litigation experience, including substantial exposure to product and premises liability.
- Proven trial experience preferred.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and supervise team members.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Business development aptitude and interest in growing client relationships.
Preferred Experience
- Background in a mid-to-large defense firm setting.
- Experience with insurance carrier clients or self-insured entities.
- Familiarity with Florida civil procedure and local court practices.
