CIVIL LITIGATION DEFENSE ATTORNEY

A growing, mid-size litigation defense firm seeks attorneys for multiple practice areas: medical malpractice law; personal injury law; employment law; and public entity law. These roles are hybrid with 2-3 days in office/week and require an active license to practice law in California and 3+ years of civil litigation experience in California.

Salary: $110,000 - $180,000 per year
Shift: First
Work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Education: Doctoral

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Argue motions in court.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and deliver exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience in California.
• Active California license to practice law.
• Doctoral degree (J.D. or equivalent).
