Job Title: Commercial Litigation Associate

Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid)

Our client, a nationally recognized AM100 law firm with a highly regarded litigation platform, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its NY office.

This opportunity offers the chance to work directly under one of the firm's nationwide Co-Chairs of Litigation on a broad range of sophisticated commercial disputes.

The practice handles complex, high stakes matters across multiple industries, representing businesses, financial institutions, real estate owners, and other corporate clients in state and federal courts nationwide.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting with all phases of complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts
• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation‑related filings
• Conducting legal research and developing case strategy alongside senior attorneys
• Preparing witnesses, experts, and clients for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial
• Participating in court appearances, client meetings, and strategic case discussions
• Working closely with partners and clients on sophisticated business disputes from inception through resolution
• Assisting with matters involving real estate‑related disputes, contract claims, partnership disputes, and other complex commercial issues as needed

What they need:

• J.D. and admission to practice law in New York
• Approximately 4-6 years of commercial litigation experience (ideal class years 2020-2021)
• Experience working on complex commercial disputes in a law firm environment
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience drafting substantive motions and managing significant portions of litigation matters
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
• A desire to work in a collaborative environment with direct partner access and meaningful responsibility
• Exposure to real estate litigation or real estate‑related disputes is a plus, but not required
