Commercial Litigation Attorney

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Litigation Attorney to join a dynamic and growing litigation team. This role involves representing businesses in complex commercial disputes across a variety of industries.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong litigation skills, capable of handling cases from inception through resolution, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts
- Handle disputes involving breach of contract, business torts, partnership disputes, and fiduciary claims
- Manage cases from initial pleadings through trial or settlement
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs
- Conduct and defend depositions, including witnesses and experts
- Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
- Develop litigation strategies and prepare cases for trial
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients
- Collaborate with internal teams and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active Bar license in (Insert State) (required)
- 3–10+ years of commercial litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of civil procedure and litigation processes
- Experience with motions, depositions, and court appearances
- Trial experience or significant trial preparation experience preferred
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
