Responsibilities Job Summary: Manage project execution activities of several commercial construction projects with varying complexity and size while building relationships and maintaining H-E-B standards. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Manage multiple concurrent projects of medium to large complexity Supervise projects through all phases including planning, initiation, coordination, close out activities, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and schedule improvements while partnering with internal and external stakeholders Manage contractors from bid reviews, adherence to project plans, schedule phasing while analyzing performance and providing feedback Evaluate and ensure accuracy of project information, documentation, schedules, contracting/invoicing and correspondence Assist with onboarding and continuing development of construction partners (newer or less experienced) through systems trainings and site walks The responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position. Majority of work is spent both independently planning and completing the design, implementation, and/or delivery of processes, programs, and/or policies. May coach, direct, oversee, or review the work of lower-level professionals. Networks with more senior internal and external stakeholders who may be unfamiliar with the area of specialty.
Work Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience preferred Architecture, engineering, construction/project management, or related field, comparable formal training, or work experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and building codes Strong PC skills specifically around industry related software (MS suite, project management applications, plan review tools, etc.) Strong organizational, analytical, time management and decision-making skills Strong verbal / written communication, and interpersonal / collaboration skills Strong troubleshooting, risk management and problem-solving skills Education: Bachelor's Degree or additional role-relevant experience. Related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or experience Licenses/Certifications: Physical Demands & Working Conditions: Function in a fast-paced, office environment Travel by car or plane with overnight stays The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Partner encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
