Job Summary
The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for an experienced sales professional to join as a Territory Services Sales Manager in Brasília, Brazil. The Consulting Services Account Specialist exercises sound judgment and works independently with minimal instruction to lead services sales efforts in assigned accounts. The role develops solutions aligned to customer outcomes, coordinates with delivery and sales teams, and resolves moderately complex service sales issues within their scope of responsibility.
In this role, you will lead sales activities covering IT infrastructure solutions and technologies, from mission‑critical operating systems and virtualization environments to advanced middleware, cloud, and Platform‑as‑a‑Service (PaaS) propositions. You'll be responsible for managing sales, customer satisfaction, and partner engagement for accounts within the assigned territory. As a Territory Services Sales Manager, you will develop and maintain relationships with channel partners and key accounts, working to sell Red Hat’s offerings and services under a partnership agreement.
What You Will Do
- Grow your territory through the development of internal business partnerships with the Field Sales team and alliance and partner programs
- Accurately and consistently provide revenue and booking forecasts for your territory
- Design and implement effective, high‑impact technical and business solutions for Red Hat’s customers
- Manage revenue and booking goals across all practices; meet margin and use targets
- Ensure successful delivery of all projects
- Sell Red Hat’s solutions using customer business requirements to create unique technical offerings
- Coordinate customer managers who manage consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration within your team
- Sell and manage complex, multi‑product solutions using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Grow your revenue base on a quarterly basis
- Manage escalations without supervision
- Assist with negotiating Red Hat’s master services agreements and statements of work (SoWs) with the customers and Red Hat’s Legal team
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years of experience with internal or external sales
- Knowledge of technical or business consulting practices
- Project delivery experience
- Solid leadership skills
- Experience adhering to agile methodologies within project teams
- Knowledge of application development or cloud solutions creation and delivery
- Experience with and ability to speak at public conferences and meetups
- Availability to travel
