Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Content Manager (APAC) to shape, govern, and coordinate a coherent regional content approach across Asia Pacific. This role ensures global content is effectively translated, localized, and sequenced for APAC, while developing APAC-specific content where regional seasonality, cultural context, or commercial priorities require it. Acting as the central planning and alignment point, you will drive consistency, relevance, and execution discipline across global, regional, and local content activities.
You will actively shape narratives, create content, and establish governance structures that enable markets to execute effectively without duplication or last-minute rework.
Key Responsibilities
APAC Content Strategy and Regional PlanningDefine and own the APAC content strategy aligned to global brand direction and regional business prioritiesDevelop an integrated APAC content roadmap across product launches, seasonality, and commercial momentsEnsure content plans are realistic, sequenced, and executable across markets
Global-to-APAC Content Translation and AlignmentServe as the primary APAC interface for global content initiativesTranslate global campaign intent into APAC-relevant narratives and deployment plansIdentify feasibility, timing, and relevance gaps early and work with global teams to adapt appropriately
APAC-Specific Content DevelopmentIdentify gaps where global assets do not sufficiently meet APAC market needsDevelop APAC-originated content concepts grounded in regional consumer behavior and commercial objectivesBrief and manage creative development with internal teams or agenciesConceptualize and produce engaging content across formats, including social media, landing pages, campaign materials, thought leadership, and PR
Localization Governance and Market EnablementProvide markets with clear content toolkits, timelines, and localization guidanceDefine guardrails on what is fixed versus adaptable to protect brand integritySupport markets in executing localization efficiently without repeated clarification
Content Calendar Governance and Conflict ManagementOwn and manage the master APAC content calendar across global, regional, and local initiativesProactively identify and resolve clashes in timing, messaging, or channel usageManage dependencies and sequencing to avoid bottlenecks
Stakeholder Coordination and Decision FacilitationCoordinate across Global Marketing, APAC HQ, country teams, creative, media, and agenciesDrive alignment and closure in a matrixed environment without formal authorityCommunicate priorities, trade-offs, and timelines clearly
Content Effectiveness and Continuous ImprovementPartner with regional and market teams to review content performance and qualitative effectivenessIdentify patterns and insights to inform future planningApply learnings to refine the APAC content approach over time
Workflow, Tools and AI EnablementEstablish structured workflows for content planning, approvals, version control, and localizationApply AI tools selectively for ideation and drafting while maintaining quality controlEnsure brand standards and governance are upheld in all outputs
RequirementsMinimum 6 years of experience in content strategy, brand marketing, or regional marketing rolesProven experience operating at regional level within a global-to-local matrixStrong understanding of content localization, seasonality planning, and multi-market coordinationStrong storytelling skills with an eye for brand tone, messaging consistency, and visual aestheticsDemonstrated ability to balance global brand consistency with local relevanceExperience working with creative teams, agencies, and multiple country stakeholdersStrong planning, prioritization, and stakeholder management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills
Technical CapabilitiesProficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere ProProficiency in Canva, Photoshop, or similar design toolsExperience developing and executing social media content calendars and PR plansFamiliarity with content planning tools and AI-enabled creative workflows
