Job Summary
The role involves working in collaboration with Caterpillar and Dealer teams through deep data analysis identifying priority customer segments, problem statements, root causes, potential solutions, and ultimately supporting the creation of a granular execution plan, which will lead to robust governance and growth over the next 3-5 years. Additionally, the Marketing Consultant will support the dealer and regional industry team in the implementation of the plan. This position will be focused primarily in Asia Pacific and supporting Rental/Used and Building Construction Products (BCP) growth plans.
What You Will Do
- Support development of multiyear strategic and tactical execution plans with a focus on business growth.
- Support business analysis to uncover unique customer needs, process gaps and business drivers.
- Support the execution of dealer growth projects with internal partners and dealer network.
- Identify potential roadblocks across the organization and work across teams to enable progress.
- Support the development of workshops and report out material.
- Align project needs and data requirements.
- Create and update presentation material used to convey clear messaging through visuals and storytelling.
- Monitor task completion leading to project milestones.
- Coordinate and facilitate virtual, face‑to‑face workshops, voice of business collection, and note taking.

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, communications, economics, statistics, or a similar field with quantitative coursework. Experience working with Cat Dealers in Operations; Marketing; Sales, or Strategy. Strong Excel and Power Point skills.
MS Office suite experience. Top Candidate Will Also Have Experience in the Construction Industry, BCP, or Rental sector. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
Two years of equipment sales experience. Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau (preferred). Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
Additional Information
Expected business travel at 25% - 40%. This position requires working onsite five days a week.
