Control Systems Engineer

We're recruiting on behalf of an innovative engineering company looking to add a Control Systems Engineer to its growing R&D team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys developing control strategies, solving complex technical challenges, and working on the design of next‑generation engineered products from concept through to release.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise control software for new and existing products.
• Develop Function Block Diagram (FBD) control logic and operating sequences.
• Configure and tune PID control loops to optimise system performance.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, drives and controllers into complete control systems.
• Support prototype testing, validation and troubleshooting activities.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Produce technical documentation and support continuous product improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics or a related Engineering discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in industrial control systems or automation engineering.
• Strong understanding of control theory, PID tuning and industrial control architectures.
• Experience developing and troubleshooting control software.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
