Corporate Legal Counsel

We're hiring: Corporate Legal Counsel (Remote Preferably Pune)Oyster Shield is growing, and we're looking for a Corporate Legal Counsel to join our global legal operations team.This is a remote role, ideally based in Pune, working with private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) backed companies, as well as fast-growing organisations, across the Europe, UK, US and India.You'll work at the intersection of law, business, and operations, supporting software-driven organisations on:SaaS and technology contractsCommercial negotiations and deal supportPrivacy, data protection (including GDPR), and complianceESG and governance initiativesCross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations

What makes this role different At Oyster Shield, we don't operate like a traditional legal function. We act as business operators, helping PE and VC-backed companies scale, professionalise, and prepare for growth, investment, and exit.

We're also actively building legal tech solutions together with , giving this role exposure to modern, AI-enabled legal operations and process design.

Location: Remote in India (preference for Pune) ️ Experience: 5+ years PQE (LLB; international exposure a plus) Languages: English required; any additional European language is a strong plus
